Banana-Bran Smoothie


1/4 cup Bran Cereal
1 ripe Banana (chopped)
2 tablespoons low fat natural yoghurt
1-2 teaspoons honey (to taste)
180ml cold milk (low fat or soy may be used)
Nutmeg (optional)

Place all ingredients, except nutmeg, into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass, sprinkle with nutmeg if desired and serve immediately.

Optional: For a delicious nutty taste, try adding 1 tablespoon of slivered almonds to the blender.
