Fruit Smoothie


1 cup frozen strawberries
1 1/2 cups of cantaloupe melon
2 tbps. of freshly squeezed lemon juice
sweeten with 1 tbps. sugar, 1 pack of artificial
sweetener or honey to taste

In a blender, mash up the melon a few pieces at a time and on slow speed. Add the lemon juice and sweetning agent. Add frozen strawberries 1 or 2 at a time until all are incorporated. Taste for sweetness and add more if desired.

"Mmmm .. this drink is thick and very refreshing. Serves 2 people. Can also be made with honeydew melon."
